I love holiday cards. Don’t you? It’s so fun to get cute, updated pictures and cards in the mail this time of year. In the past I have kept them all in a stack somewhere and I just hate that. I want to enjoy those adorable pictures of close family and friends. As usual, Martha comes to the rescue. I picked up the latest Martha Stewart Magazine and she had the answer for me. A card wreath! So simple – a bow, an embroidery hoop, glue & closepins. Voila! Adorable, functional, holiday decor! Click here for directions! Quick note: Martha used a 14inch embroidery hoop but those were $16 at Michaels and the 12inch hoops were like $1.50 so I opted for 2 – 12inch rings. I’m expecting lots of cards this year.
In case my unfinished and pretty empty wreath doesn’t inspire you…maybe a picture of Martha’s will.
This is awesome….so bummed I saw it AFTER the holidays. Next year!
you’ll have to try it next year, kristi! i loooved having all our cards on display this year! so fun to enjoy all those cute pictures.
