re-usable favors

I have a small stash of re-usable bags that I use on many different occasions. I find myself using each and everyone I have. So, this got me thinking that re-usable bags would be the perfect favor for a wedding. I know I’m not the first one to think of this brilliant idea…but I just wanted to throw it out there again to any of you who might be searching for the perfect favor idea. Go green, give guests something they’ll really use!

bouquet brainstorm

I’ve been in contact with an adorable client whose May wedding is sure to be stunningly unique. She has sent me a few ideas of what she likes…I am hoping to surprise her with a most gorgeous bouquet.

chai tea latte

On these frigid winter days I all I want is constantly hot and delicious, Starbucks chai tea latte. They’re calorie free – right? Instead, I guess I’ll save myself the money and calories and settle for my sugar free swiss miss hot chocolate, at least for tonight.

canvas creations

O.k. so we rearranged our first floor to make room for the ever-expanding toy collection. As my husband moved furniture I got the sudden urge to repaint two canvases that I had hanging in the living room. Since the look of our first floor was changing….why not change what was hanging on the walls. A perfectly impulsive sunday project. Don’t you think?

Here’s what I did. I took the canvases below…

and painted them like so….

….but wait – the turquoise, black & white seemed too expected. Surely ONE stripe of hot pink on ONE of the canvases would definitely add the perfect finishing touch.

I’m still not in love with my new design. I kind of half-assed it so it’s a tad messy but it will have to do for now. The messiness was definitely intentional

Check out the way cute christmas gift that Bo received from my most wonderful aunt, uncle & cousins. 12 days of socks! Brilliant. Love the colors and this idea. Bo will totally be rocking these socks asap.

candy hurricanes

My mom has these adorable hurricanes on the island in her kitchen! I loved the idea for the holidays and wanted to share. She bought ribbon candy and dropped it in glass hurricanes around the candles. Cute! Doesn’t the ribbon candy work well for holiday decor?

cozy

Is this cozy or what? Love that the stockings are hung at the end of the bed. I just want to grab a cup of hot chocolate, a classic holiday movie (probably elf!) and snuggle up in this bed!
